These terms are an agreement between you and Tree Host () ("we", "us") for using the Tree Host website, dashboard and Minecraft server hosting (the "Service"). By creating an account you agree to them.
You must be at least 13 years old to make an account. To buy a plan you must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms and pays for you. You must give a working email address and keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything done with your account and your API tokens.
Monthly plans are billed in advance through our payment provider and renew automatically every month at the price shown when you bought them, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time with one click in Billing; we email you a confirmation, you are not charged again, and your plan stays active until the end of the month you paid for. We tell you before a price change applies to your plan.
Each server on a plan gets the memory, CPU and disk listed when you bought it. A monthly plan can hold any number of servers, and it always has room for one of them to run. Extra servers on the same plan run whenever the machine has free memory; when it is full, an extra server can't start until you stop another one or room frees up.
The Lifetime plan is a one-time payment for the servers, proxies and support it lists. "Lifetime" means for as long as Tree Host offers the Service, and at least 5 years from your purchase. If we stop offering the Service within 5 years of your purchase, we refund the unused part (the price paid, times the full months left of the 5 years, divided by 60). It never renews. Lifetime plans are limited in number and may sell out.
If a payment fails, your server keeps running for a short grace period, then it is stopped until the payment goes through. If a plan ends, the server and its files and backups are deleted after 14 days.
Because your server starts the moment you pay, payments are generally non-refundable, including for part of a month. We may refund at our discretion, for example if the Service was unavailable for a long time. Contact us if something went wrong.
You may not use the Service to:
We may warn, suspend, ban or delete servers and accounts that break these rules, and we report illegal activity where the law requires it (including child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities and never allow). We tell you why, with an action number, in your Tree Host inbox and by email. If you think we got it wrong, you can appeal once per action from your inbox (or by replying to the email), and a member of our team will review it.
We respond to copyright notices as described on our copyright (DMCA) page. We remove or disable content that is the subject of a valid notice, and we close the accounts of repeat infringers: an account that gets 3 valid notices that are not successfully countered within 12 months is terminated.
Your worlds, plugins, mods and files stay yours. You give us permission to store, copy (for backups) and run them only to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the right to use the plugins, mods and other content you upload.
We work to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. Backups are provided as a convenience: keep your own copies of anything important. We are not responsible for lost data.
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
We may change these terms or our prices. We'll tell you about important changes by email or in the dashboard before they apply. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.
Tree Host is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. These terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction, without affecting consumer protection rights you have where you live.
The Service is not offered in countries or to people under comprehensive U.S. sanctions.
